A DIMS SCORE® of under 8 means this might not be a good buy.

The Total Cost of an experience can be much larger than merely the price of admission to an event thanks to transportation, food, souvenir, and perhaps equipment costs.

After calculating the Total Cost of the event I would like to attend, I answered questions that generate a DIMS - Does It Make Sense?® SCORE (from 1-10). My answers to these questions can be found below. Young people are encouraged to consider events that generate a DIMS SCORE® of 8 or higher. As you can see, my "thoughtfully preferred" event scored 0. Can we talk?

Could we also share this report with my grandparents, aunts, and uncles? They might prefer to contribute to the cost of this event for an upcoming holiday or birthday gift, rather than buying smaller items that may not be as appreciated.
